Katrina Kaif has had a good run at the box office, but that’s not the only reason that she’s smiling these days.

The actress has topped various polls. She was earlier voted as the sexiest Asian that was followed by another poll that declared her as the sexiest pin up girl in Bollywood. And recently she topped the poll that declared as one of those who mark the changing face of Bollywood. Looks like Kat’s a topper in Bollywood.

Serial blasts rock Tripura; at least 50 injured

Five bomb blasts rocked Tripura on Wednesday evening, leaving 35 people wounded.

Ten of the injured are stated to be in critical condition.

Initial reports suggest that blasts occurred at Gul Bazar, Radha Nagar and G B Bazar.

The first explosion took place at 7.30 pm followed by other blasts between 7.35 pm to 8.15 pm.

Barely two days ago, eight people died in crude bomb explosions at Malegaon in Maharashtra and Modasa in Gujarat.

Two weeks ago, a bomb explosion at Mehrauli in Delhi left one dead and several injured.

Trouble in Salman’s paradise?

Salman Khan has a way of finding himself in controversies, break-ups, link-ups, brawls etc. Good publicity or bad publicity, but Salman is always in the news. This time the man has found himself in yet another problem. The buzz is that his lady love Katrina has given her consent to Shah Rukh Khan to be a part of his upcoming Temptations tour. The mega show that is scheduled to begin sometime next month was launched last week with great fanfare.

The buzz is that at the event Katrina Kaif was seen grating with her beau’s arch enemy Shah Rukh Khan. “On the stage, they looked very comfortable with each other. Considering that the two have never worked together at all, their chemistry was great,” says an eye witness who was present at the venue where the promotion show for Temptations was happening.

Salman has been very vocal about him not approving of Vivek Oberoi, John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan. He has also said that he did not want Kats to share the screen space with his enemies. Well, that not all, the cherry on the cake is the news about Shah Rukh and Katrina doing the next Yash Chopra film. “The film was offered to her by Yash Raj at a time when Salman is not in the country, so as not to cause any hiccups. And in all probabilities Kaif has agreed to do the film,” revealed the insider.

With Katrina behaving like a rebel and defying all rules laid by boyfriend Salman Khan, wonder where their relationship is headed. Well that a question that can be best answered by the lady herself. But in the meantime, Katrina Kaif is enjoying the perks of being in the Shah Rukh Khan camp.

This mosque has a Saddam link

The largest mosque in Modasa town - Shahi-Kot Masjid - was actually renovated by money that former Iraq dictator Saddam Hussein sent for upgradation and renovation of mosque in early 1980's . The mosque is called the Saddam Hussein Shahi-Kot Masjid of Sunni Muslims.

This mosque is operated by trustees of Barelvi community of Sunni sect. The placard outside this mosque states that foundation of mosque was laid by Hakim Jalal Pir Mashari of Ahmedabad. In 1980s, a large part of this mosque had collapsed. At this time, Saddam was president of Iraq and his government agreed to extend help for renovation of mosque.
