India Gate is silhouetted

The historic India Gate is silhouetted against the rising sun in New Delhi on Thursday, September 25, 2008. The arch-shaped gate bears the names of more than 85,000 Indian army soldiers who died during World War I, the 1919 Afghan Fiasco and northeast frontier operations.
