VERY HIGH UP

A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all
day. A Rabbit asked him, Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day
long?
The crow answered: Sure, why not. So, the rabbit sat on the ground
below the crow, and rested. A fox jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story: To be sitting and doing nothing,
you must be sitting very high up.

Lunch With God

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer and started his journey.
When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her some chips. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.

Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat
there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.
As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.
When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied! "I ate potato chips in the park with God." However, before her son responded, she added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected."

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of

which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally!

The Painting that fetched one crore - (Photo)

Everyone is well aware that Salman Khan paints as one of his hobbies. He has made several paintings over the last few years. However art connoisseurs claim that actor Salman Khan’s painting skills are average and limited to a passionate hobby.

Many art experts have implied that Salman’s paintings do not have high commercial value as his painting skills are in a nascent stage. However no one, not even art connoisseurs would have imagined that a painting done by Salman Khan would actually fetch around Rs. One crore.

Sources claim that at first Salman Khan did not want to talk about his painting skills and he had to be coaxed by his family and friends to show his work to others. Over the years Salman has been painting and has gifted many of his friends in the film industry some of his paintings. But a reluctant Salman was recently convinced by Anil Kapoor to auction some of his paintings for a charitable cause. Salman agreed to auction off some of his paintings as he was keen to help several NGO’s involved in charitable work.

Salman’s work was being auctioned off by the Plan India charitable NGO; however Salman was not too happy with the amount that one of his paintings was fetching. A particular painting that was close to Salman’s heart was fetching only Rs.20 lakhs which Sallu thought was too paltry a sum for his prized possession. Salman claimed that the particular painting was very precious as it speaks about the emotions between a mother and a son. Hence Salman decided to withdraw that particular painting from the auction. Salman claimed that when he fetched the desired price he would donate the money later to the NGO.

It seems now in hindsight that Salman made a smart move by withdrawing the painting from the auction as he has now fetched around Rs. One crore for that same piece of art.

The deal between Salman and the client who bought the painting for around Rs. One crore was done over the phone. However Salman has now decided that the proceeds from this painting will now go to his own personal Salman Khan Foundation which he has recently set up to fund charitable causes.

Salman’s father Salim Khan confirms that Salman has sold the painting which he had pulled out from the auction for a good price, he says “I know for sure that the amount has gone to the Salman Khan Foundation and it will benefit the needy that the foundation supports.”

Salman Khan to host 'Power of 10' for Sony

Salman Khan will host a TV game show for Sony Entertainment Televison (SET) titled Power of 10, in which contestants will be asked to guess the results of a nationwide survey. A correct guess will result in their prize money being multiplied by 10.

The show, an adaptation of the US show hosted by Drew Carey for CBS, will be produced locally by Synergy Entertainment. It signals Sony Entertainment's determination to compete in the high stakes battle for TRPs.

Salman Khan is reportedly being paid Rs 90 crore for the 100 episode game show that will air starting June.

Sony, which plans to aggressively promote the show during the IPL season, is banking on Salman Khan's popularity in India and abroad to ensure that rival shows like Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas se Tez Hain, hosted by Shah Rukh Khan for Star TV, and Fear Factor, hosted by Akshay Kumar for Viacom 18, don't eat into the SET's viewer base.

Akshay Kumar is reportedly being paid Rs 1.5 crore for each episode of the action themed Fear Factor, which will reportedly feature Bollywood actresses as contestants to begin with.

Salman Khan takes off his shirt on a television show

It is not everyday that one gets to see Salman Khan at his humorous best. Salman made a grand entry on the sets Amul Star Voice of India Chhote Ustad. He swept the crowd as he stepped onto the stage with his hit song ‘Hai Rama Rama Ho’ from the film, Lucky. Once Salman gets into the groove then there’s no stopping him. He danced with the Chhote Ustad’s contestants, Aishwarya, Anvesha and Prakriti.

But the real treat was something totally unexpected. Salman on the request of his kid fans and audience removed his shirt in the true ‘Salman-i-shtyle’. He flexed his muscles and drove the audience wild. "We all, including the audience went crazy when he took off his shirt. This was the best episodic shoot I have ever experience; it was filled with fun", said the Chhote Ustad contestant, Aishwarya who has been a big fan of Salman Khan since her childhood.

Do u really share your feelings with your loved one.....

How much do u share your feelings with your loved ones? Do you make sure you share your feelings with them or do you shy away thinking it would hurt them? In fact did you know that your loved ones could get more hurt with your silence than when you speak your heart out. There is an old saying that "Silence is Golden". But not always.
This happened to me the other day. A person iam very close to me just stopped talking to me. When I asked him he just told me he was in a fix and then he just stopped talking to me. I kept on calling him and messaging him (Prob in a span of 12 hrs I sent him 200 msgs) but he never responded back. Then he messaged back saying u take care...I will be back soon.
Prob he thought not telling me would be better as I wont be tensed much. but how wrong he was. I was so tensed. Even though it is gonna be 2 days he didn't call me...I was on the verge of tears when he called me and let me know he was on trouble.
And yes after that I was able to let him think clearly and also have the issue resolved

So guys and gals remember by telling your problems to the people who love you, you could help resolve your issue than thinking that it would hurt them.

So Happy Sharing Darlings!!!!!

Tonsillitis- Few Informations

What is tonsillitis?

Tonsillitis is a disorder involving inflammation of the tonsils. There are two tonsils, situated on either side of the back of the throat and they form part of the body's immune system. They, like the rest of the immune system, contain special cells to trap and kill bacteria and viruses travelling through the body. When the main site of infection is within the tonsils they swell, become red and inflamed and may show a surface coating of white spots. Tonsillitis is extremely common in children and young people but it can occur at any age. The characteristics of the disease are pain in the throat and trouble swallowing. Tonsillitis is usually a self-limiting condition, ie it gets better without treatment, and generally there are no complications.

TONSILLITIS TREATMENT OPTIONS

Enlarged tonsils are normal for many children. However, you should call your physician if your child has recurrent sore throats (more than five infections in one year). Tonsillitis can usually be treated with antibiotics, but a tonsillectomy may be indicated if the tonsils do not respond to antibiotics. Bacterial tonsillitis can be treated with antibiotics, but viral tonsillitis cannot. A throat culture can confirm the presence of streptococci or other bacteria and will help your physician determine the appropriate care.

Swollen, enlarged tonsils may make swallowing painful and eating difficult. Encourage your child to consume liquids and soft foods. Warm (not hot), very cold and bland fluids may soothe the throat. Gargling with warm salt water may also provide relief. A nonprescription pain medication, such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen, may be used to reduce pain and fever. Aspirin may have negative effects, so check with your doctor before administering and medications. Rest will promote healing.

Tonsillitis symptoms usually begin to subside 2 to 3 days after treatment is initiated. However, even if he or she is feeling better, your child should take the full course of antibiotics as prescribed by your pediatrician.

If tonsillitis is severe or if one or more of the following conditions are present, surgery to remove the tonsils (tonsillectomy) may be recommended:

· Swollen, enlarged tonsils that make breathing difficult

· Difficulty swallowing

· Recurrent sore throats

· Recurrent throat infections

· Obstructive sleep apnea

What are the signs and symptoms of tonsillitis?

Pain in the throat (sometimes severe) that may last more than 48 hours and be associated with difficulty in swallowing. The pain may spread to the ears.

The throat is reddened, the tonsils are swollen and may be coated or have white spots on them.Possibly a high temperature.Swollen lymph glands under the jaw and in the neck.Headache.Loss of voice or changes in the voice.

Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed

He was walking along the beach with the Lord.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.

For each scene he noticed two sets of

Footprints in the sand: one belonging

To him, and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,

He looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of

His life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very

Lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he

Questioned the Lord about it:

" Lord, you said that once I decided to follow

You, you'd walk with me all the way.

But I have noticed that during the most

Troublesome times in my life,

There is only one set of footprints.

I don't understand why when

I needed you most you would leave me."

The Lord replied:

" My son, my precious child,

I love you and I would never leave you.

During your times of trial and suffering,

When you see only one set of footprints,

It was then that I carried you ."

A very sweet poetry for u Jaan

Kyun piyar ussi par hi aata hai,
Jo mil kar bhi naa mil pata hai.
Kaise yeh usse batayein hum,
Tujh bin rah na paayein hum.
Kyun baar baar woh satata hai
Kuwaabon main aakar rulata hai?
Bhulanaa us ko chahein hum,
Par kis tarah bhulaayein hum?

Woh mann main har dum rahta hai,
Dharkan ki tarah dharkta hai.
Hain issi ehsaas se zindaa hum,
Hain ek-duje ke dil o jaan hum.
Ek duje ke dil main rahte hain
Kya pyaar issi ko kahte hain?

Kitnay Sajaye They Sapney Pyar Key,
Kia Khabar Thi Zindagi Hay aik Raat Kee...
