No one, who claims to have a fondness for rock 'n' roll, can forget August 15, 1969 -- day one of Woodstock.
A massive rock festival in Bethel, New York, it drew thousands of people who were entertained by a magnificent set of influential musicians.
More importantly, it went on to become an iconic moment in the sixties, and the history of popular music. Almost three decades later, Woodstock II took place near the site of the legendary first concert, attracting around 300,000 people.
Pop in a DVD of the original concert this weekend. It will take you back like few concerts will, to a time when people genuinely believed music could change the world.
